Recommended Procedures for Using 8 Lanes

The ability to use 8 lanes in a meet is currently limited to one facility:  it cannot be considered a general feature of our league and basically is of interest to one team.  Because of this, I am recommending that any meets that are held in an 8 lane course be subject to the following guidelines:

  1. The meet shall be run without the use of place judges and based on times.
  2. The home team must supply any extra timers and watches required in the event that the visiting team is unwilling or unable to.
  3. 3 timers per lane should be used if at all possible.  The visiting team would be responsible for 9 and the home team 15.
